What is Forton MG?
Modified Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum is a high tech composite casting material none porous and waterproof. Research programs have shown that Forton MG has very good mechanical and physical properties that enable the material to be used for a wide range of applications. The material shows improved weather resistance that makes it possible to use the product for exterior applications.
What is GRG?
Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum is primarily used for interior applications, composed of a high-strength, high-density; alpha based gypsum reinforced with continuous filament glass fiber or chopped glass fiber strands. Its lightweight makes it possible to be use on ceilings and elsewhere where weight is a factor. It has superior fire retardant properties, and it can be installed with minimal field labor using drywall techniques.
What is GRC?
Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement is a Portland cement-based composite material with an absolute minimum weight of 4% of alkali resistance glass fiber, sand and water, with a minimum design thickness 13 mm. Used for exterior applications. It's lightweight an ideal to manufacture a wide range of deep reveals to complex rectilinear and curvilinear shapes, such as short radius, curves, wide sweeping arcs or 90-degree angles.
How safe is this material if used on my property?
All of our product lines are Gypsum based. Gypsum is known for its fire properties and this certainly one of the reasons why it is very popular in construction, this enable us to manufacture materials easy to maintain low flames spread, smoke and controllable fire expansion. All products are design to carry appropriate weight. Through our product testing we’ve ensure our selves that we meet and exceed the industry requirements.
Do you have installation available?
No, Architectural Products is a material fabricator only. We can however, assist you or recommend installers depending upon project scope and location.
How is the material shipped?
There are two means of shipping and transporting the finished products. One method is to "crate" every piece of the product in a "wooden box" and ship the entire "package" to the job site through one of the freight delivering companies we use. An alternate method of shipping is customer will call this eliminates crating and utilizes air-ride suspension trailers and/or trucks, pick-ups or vans. The customer can pick the material their convenient time and day, during our working hours.
Twelve months - (1 Year) limited guarantee. Unless material hasn’t been handle properly than the customer is liable and responsible for any damaged caused to the material(s).
